A membership for conscious creatives who want to grow a values-led repair or craft business without burning out.
The Repair Artist's Way
A space for support, momentum, and figuring it out together - from pricing, and content to energy and mindset - with a mix of mentoring and community, and real talk from people that get it.
You’re running your concious creative business solo - creating, stitching, repairing, quoting, content creating, replying to clients...
It’s not that you don’t love the work. But it’s hard to build momentum when you’re doing it all alone.
The Repair Artist’s Way is a space to come as you are - to get support, talk pricing without panic, and grow your business without running yourself into the ground.
what You’ll get each month:
→ 90-minute monthly live Google meet session with Gay as your host (on a key topic chosen by the group)
→ Access to all recordings + replays (incase you can’t make one)
→ Ongoing community Discord group - because support shouldn’t just happen once a month.
→ Monthly content prompts + nudges to keep you focused (without the overwhelm) → A space to ask questions, feel seen, and not figure it all out alone
This is not a course. It’s a slower, more supportive way of building.
It’s a place to ask questions, share wins, and stop feeling like you're the only one googling “how much to charge for this repair?” at midnight.

Defining what you're building
Thursday 20th November
9.30am-11.00am BST
Whether you’re just starting out or shifting direction, this session is your chance to zoom out and get clear. We’ll gently explore what you actually want your livelihood/business to look like… the values it’s built on, the lifestyle it supports, and the offers you want to create. Less “shoulds,” more grounded decisions. You don’t need to have it all figured out - just come with curiosity and a willingness to reflect.
-
closing the year with care
Thursday 18th December
9.30am - 11.00am BST
A cosy, end-of-year session to slow down, reflect, and reconnect. Not a goal-setting workshop - more of a warm pause to look back on what’s shifted, name what you’re proud of, and gently set the tone for what you’d love more of in the year ahead. Bring a brew, a blanket, and your honest thoughts - this one’s about community, clarity, and closing the year with intention.
-
Storytelling for Socials
Thursday 15th January
9.30am-11.00am BST
You know you “should” be posting more… but what do you even say? This session is all about finding your way of showing up online. We'll explore how to share your work without feeling salesy, how to talk about your values without being preachy, and how to build connection with the right people - just by being yourself. No content calendars or fancy strategies - just real talk, honest stories, and support.
this is for you if:
→ You’re already running a craft or repair business (or in the early stages)
→ You’ve undercharged, second-guessed, or burnt out before
→ You want support that’s honest, low-pressure, and rooted in care
→ You want to grow - on your terms
There are plenty of online memberships out there. But this one’s built for the messy middle.
Where we talk about pricing blocks AND customer comms.
Where we care about our craft AND our capacity.
Where you don’t need to be perfect, polished, or a ‘content machine’ to get support.
It’s not a shiny blueprint. It’s a lived-in way of working - guided by someone who’s in it with you.
Hi, I’m Gay.
I’m a repair artist, educator, and mentor based in Nottingham, working from my back bedroom and sewing on the good side of the fashion industry.
I ran a busy sewing studio for years… fully booked, on paper thriving… but behind the scenes I was completely burnt out. In early 2024, I closed the studio, went home, and built a business that now works for me. Since then, I’ve mentored creative business owners around the UK and beyond, spoken at events and universities, and built a slower, purpose-led business that finally feels good to me and supports my way of living.
Now, I want to help you do the same.
